Pertobatan dan Kemurtadan dalam Ibrani 4:4-6: Sebuah Analisis Biblikal
Abstract
Repentance is a central theme in the Christian faith, and Hebrews 4:4-6 provides a serious warning about the possibility of someone who has experienced enlightenment and salvation to "apostatize" or fall away from their faith. This text reminds us that individuals who have tasted God's grace and goodness may turn away from Him. This research applies an exegetical approach to analyze the linguistic and theological meanings of key terms such as "repentance" and "apostasy." The conclusion of the study indicates that this text invites believers to introspection and encourages them to evaluate their relationship with God, as well as commit to ongoing repentance. Repentance is not just a one-time action; it is a process involving awareness, acknowledgment of sin, and concrete steps toward change, which helps maintain the integrity of faith amid temptations.
